I think respect is a two way street. I have absolutely no problem with Mr Vincent's family remembering him, grieving for him and leaving floral tributes for him. However, doing it right outside his victim's house was probably a little insensitive. Particularly as Mr Vincent's clan have supposedly issued threats to Mr Osborn-Brooks.

Some of the papers are saying he has received death threats and is living in a police guarded safe house. That sounds pretty threatening to me. I never did like the idea of leaving flowers at a death scene, where I live there are now appearing gravestones at the side of the road where somebody was killed. What with these, flowers, toys, football shirts and balloons and other paraphernalia hanging from trees, it all looks a bit bizarre and quickly becomes a mess.
