If it was left to one notable African, speaking on LBC radio last night the Commonwealth should be banned as it was a continuation of Colonialism and white man's domination over the black man, I ask you, talk about racism?

From the offset of the discussion, whilst the presenter was perfectly respectful and polite, when trying to convince him that membership was voluntary, the African fellow was shouting, agitated and rude, why are they so aggressive?

I think at 92(?) coming to terms with you're own fairly imminent demise must be inevitable - and in her case, sensible. I've no doubt she wants to leave the job in the best possible order for her successor.

/// AOG why did you pick
"Should Prince Charles Succeed The Queen As Head Of The Commonwealth Countries ///

I don't have to answer to you or anyone else what topical news item I choose to pick.

But I will make an acceptance, this is a headline news item, plus the fact that it was being discussed on a radio phone-in, so the news item and the phone-in was combined just I chose it to be. If some choose to address one portion that is entirely up to them, just discuss the Prince Charles involvement if the African one upsets you so much.
sure, it's just sad that an era will be coming to an end i guess. Her being queen during our lifetie is something that links all of us.
Indeed - and all credit to her on a good job done for all those years.

AOG, I think you mean 'make an exception'
Just wait until ol' jug-ears gets his mits on the Crown. I suspect the emotions towards him will be entirely different.

Still, with any luck he collapse the whole ruddy lot.
Thanks AOG, a very interesting listen -Kofi Mawuli Klu, from the Pan African Reparations Coalition in Europe was certainly loud and vehement. The Coalitions's view no doubt and he had little to say to refute the common sense offered.

The counter balance of Godfrey Bloom's calm approach was refreshing.

Pleased to hear that Prince Charles will be taking over as Head of the Commonwealth.

As regards the Queen's "fairly imminent demise" it is almost certain that her State Funeral as been planned to the very last detail for quite a few years.

And thank you for taking the time to listen to it.

I was a little uneasy when Ian Collins asked Kofi Mawuli Klu if he thought that a black person should be selected as Leader of the Commonwealth and then went on to suggest Meghan Markle perhaps?

OUCH!!!!!
Well yes, I thought similar but he sidestepped that.
I thought Harry would have been ideal. Young and fun. Just what is needed to shake up the commonwealth.
AOG google 'Operation London Bridge'. It is the plan that will be implemented as soon as the death of The Queen is announced. The code that will be issued by the Home Office to set the plan in motion is ''London Bridge is Down'' The plan is so detailed it even specifies the official mourning clothes that will issued to all BBC newsreaders and announcers to put on before they read out the official announcement. These clothes, a set of each person, are kept in permanent storage at the BBC studios so as to be ready for instant use.
You lost me right from the off AOG... what was notable about that rather unhinged caller?

/// You lost me right from the off AOG... what was notable about that rather unhinged caller? ///

I apologise for that, I could not remember his name or from what organisation he came from, so I just thought notable was a polite way to distance him from an ordinary caller.

Let's just say he was 'notable' for his aggressiveness.

He was:
Kofi Mawuli Klu, from the Pan African Reparations Coalition in Europe
"Pan African Reparations Coalition"

So he wants repatriation then? Appropriate with todays anniversary I suppose but a trifle odd. I'm not sure I know any African descendants who want repatriation, why on earth would they this is their Country now?
Reparations does not mean repatriation
The Queen's Mum lived to well over 100, so I hope our Queen does too. I will miss her, she's a fine lady.
Why not just bite the bullet, disband the whole thing and stop funding lavish lifestyles for fat shiny thieves?

Whitey needs to let folk determine their own futures by stopping all aid, funding and any other unwelcome assistance. Let them stand on their own two feet while we get over this guilt nonsense.
To imagine the death of the monarch was high treason under Henry VIII.
