How Can Labour Lance This Boil?......do They Want To? .....what Now For Labour?

COB's meeting with Jewish leaders has been "disappointing". Should Labour now expel all the anti semites to clean up the party or should they simply be honest with the electorate and declare that they are infected with anti semitism and leave it up to the voters?

Talk is cheap it actions that speak loudest.
I suspect he will get rid of a few insignificant people and perhaps one or two higher ups (who will later return having learnt only to keep ones mouth shut rather than having learned the error of their ways) and it a successful purge of anti-semitism.

Should Labour now expel all the anti semites to clean up the party
Absolutely. Root and branch. I know that many people think that people cry ‘racism’ at a drop of a hat nowadays, but too often these issues are swept under the carpet.
They should be gotten rid of immediately. Antisemitism is one of the the most odious forms of bigotry - drive them out. There are other political parties these knuckle-draggers can join.
Good to see bigotry being called out.

Jewish leaders do mot want any criticism of Israel. But Israel often acts like a rogue state and deserves to be admonished from time to time.
So when Israeli snipers kill 17 unarmed protesters, the Labour Party or anyone else should be free to comment about it. And Jewish leaders will inevitably call that anti semitism (when it isn’t).
The Labour Party is never going to keep quiet about Israeli human rights abuses, so it can never please Jewish leaders, so it should stop trying.

Several Labour MPs are members of ‘Labour Friends of Israel’ who are funded by a foreign Government and their aim is to influence British politics. They are apologists for the abuses that Israel often inflicts on Palestinians. If Labour MPs are not condeming killings by snipers because they are in the pay of the Israeli Government, then they should not be surprised if they themselves are criticised.

It would appear that Labour’s current position is beginning to look attractive to all the wrong sorts!

What exactly can Labour do? I have yet to see any instances of Jew-hating within the Labour party which were not some distasteful tweets posted by people of unverified membership. If that's as far as the problem goes, there's very little anyone can do about it - they can have as many meetings as they like. If it isn't, they also can't do anything if they aren't presented with concrete cases to respond to.
