I don't know if they're deliberately conniving in destroying their own communities or just stupid, but it's all short lets, pound shops and popups in the heart of town these days.
Personally, clothes are one of the few items I prefer to buy in shops rather than online, because I want to try them on. But M&S doesn't seem to have a lot that I like these days. That's just my personal taste, but an awful llot of other people seem to think so too. Even my last lot of M&S knickers got tatty very quickly, and that was one of the products they used to be famous for.

Except for a few things, I find their clothing incredibly boring. The colours get more shocking each season. I used to like the "indigo" range...younger, more jeans and casual pretty tops. But they've discontinued it. Their jeans are good for me, but I buy them on eBay. The only clothes I get instore are bras and knickers.
The food hall is great, but sometimes overpriced.
