Yes, just about. The Tories have 318 seats but the 4 Sinn Fein members do not take their seats and the Speaker and his two deputies do not vote so that brings her up to the halfway mark of 325.

But are they able to use these extra seven ghost seats ,{ votes} , or are they just there on paper, to make it look like they have got more seats, than they actually have JD. if so they have 318 seats in reality.

JD you need to take the seven non-voting MPs from the 650, not from 325. Half of 643 is 321.5 so the Tories need 322 to have a working majority and they have only 315 (they have 316 MPs and one of them is a Deputy Speaker)

Of course they would. Hardly going to support a rift between NI and the rest of the UK are they. And the rest of the UK ought not stand for it either. We are one. We don't abandon parts to the EU nor to Eire. (Only England gets treated less well, such as having no English government. Other parts of the UK are sacrosanct.)
