Incredibly sad for all concerned, terrible decisions,fatal outcome resulting in believing one is not fit to keep living (that last is presuming she took her own life).

What a stupid thing to say. Why would anyone get a 'smug satisfaction' from this case. We don't know why or how she died yet. She could have died naturally , committed suicide or have been killed by another inmate.

Unless I read it wrongly I thought that she was charged with causing serious injury to the boy . She didn't kill him otherwise her sentence would have been a lot more than 16 months.
