How obsequious and grovelling are people comfortable with being just in order to get this man's attention? If Trump was an effective businessman (and not, say, a de facto aristocrat with narcissistic personality disorder) he would judge the meeting with May on the basis of cost-benefit. Instead he cancels it on a whim because her tone displeases him.

I don't know of anything else that more clearly demonstrates the UK's position as a vassal state to the USA.
