Depends on how far you want to go back, Sinderella. Certainly their complicity in reporting the fake Kennedy assassinations and the moon landings.

The man's the most powerful pub bore in the world.
I don’t think Trump has ever said that about the BBC.
I have just Googled it, and didn’t find anything.
Some US rightwing supports have accused the beeb.
He accused US Broadcaster NBC, of fake news.

The BBC is the mouthpiece of the British Government, and influenced by the Foreign Office.
Is that true or did you hear it on the BBC?
He hinted at it when Jon Sopel said he was from the BBC, and the Donald said 'another beauty'
Could have been a compliment?
Nah, I've seen Mr Sopel. :)

Feb 2017, oh he's said a lot more pearlers since then - forgotten that one.
I think you have to ask the fella
and not us Sind,

Putin accused the Beeb over the Scripals and their poisoning - I mean who said they were ever poisoned for a start ! - fake news - and the main evidence seemed to be that if it HAD been the Russians the scripals would be dead, ergo....

Ab screaming or howling no n sequiturs seem to be well represented in the highest quarters ....
// The BBC is the mouthpiece of the British Government, and influenced by the Foreign Office. //

well OK some moolah DOES come from the foreign office for foreign news monitoring

but the average foreign office man-thar=een ( mandarin ) reading this would exclaim
" rip off ! we want our money back - we pay and the Beeb goes on its own sweet way!"
PP,
The Government always has the thumb screws on the BBC because it controls the License Fee, so can threaten to withdraw the BBCs funding.
That is not to say the BBC tows the Government line domestically. Governments are ephemeral, and the next one will say something entirely different. So the BBC tries to be impartial of party politics.
But its worldview is guided by the Foreign Office.
You will have to refine that argument for thickos like me I fear.

you're saying that the British Govt cracks the whip over the Beeb and doesnt crack the whip over it , at the same time ?

it is sunday - my brain hurts and I havent even been to church yet
//it is sunday - my brain hurts and I havent even been to church yet//

Imagine how the rest of us feel.
PP,
The short version is that the FO decides our relationship with other countries, and the BBC is its method of diseminating that view.
For example, the Saudis’ bloody war in Yemen is hardly ever reported because the FO regards them as a key ally. But Syria is/was widely reported because Assad is regarded as an enemy of the UK.
