The spectacle of the Conservative Party as it tears itself apart should classified as a cruel sport.
It is embarrassing to watch Theresa May’s humiliated at the hands of her own Ministers, day after day.
Boris, Davis, Mogg, Rudd are all positioning themselves to take over from May, each hastening her demise by their very actions.
At this crucial time in our history, when we need the best leaders and negotiators, we have instead this dysfunctional bunch of third raters.

I disagree with your assessment. I do not see the Tory party tearing itself apart, I se the occasional malcontent, such as Clarke, who is well past his use-by date, poking his head from time to time above the parapet. May will survive, as will the Tory party.

I agree, May and the Party will survive, but the unedifying dogfighting will be a feature and it won’t be pretty.
I don’t agree that it is just Clarke. May is a Remainer and the hard Brexit faction resent that she is in charge and will do everything to undermine her.

I also dispute the fact that May is a Remainer. She had to play the part under Cameron or risk losing her job, but at heart I am convinced she is a closet leaver.

It is unedifying to see them bickering so much but that is not just the fault of Brexiteer.

The remainers such as Sorbury, Rudd and Clark etc are just as damaging. In fact more so because they are hell bent of getting the Tories out of power and ignoring the referendum result.

Labour have just kept quiet about it all. They disagree as much as the Tories but have at least kept it out of the lime light.
