It’s not.
Have a look at contributors on questions about racism on AB. There are certain posters who will argue over and over that black people variouslg have chips on their shoulders or are too sensitive etc.
I will not listen to white people who complain that they’re being discriminated against when they look away and whistle when non-white people do the same.

I will agree that white male candidates should be treated the same as black candidates when I am sure that applicants with ‘black sounding names’ are not discriminated against, even before they’ve had a chance at an interview.
When this is raised, all I hear are excuses. Some have even suggested that it’s understandable as employers don’t want to deal with accusations of racial prejudice somewhere down the line.
So no - I don’t feel like being fair and equitable, because young white males have a built in advantage when I comes to education, employment, housing and finance.
And I will support any white person who complains about racism against them when they stand up and complain about racism directed at others...
...as opposed to what we see on AB - a constant stream of capitulation and excuses.

Who the hell wants black coppers, school teachers, BBC employees, or whatever, if they are not the very best candidates for the job? Why tell our kids to work hard to get a good job when all we have to do is tell them to wear false tan and change their name to Kwasi Bongo?
Job done. Sod the whites again!

Time to have a fresh read of this I feel.
