They're like a bunch of market traders trying to sell off some tat before the punters realise it's cheaper and better elsewhere. Leave with no deal please!

//the only likely deal will be the one which the EU want. // And it has always been so. Our government should have honoured the result of the referendum from the beginning - fulfilled this country's obligations and waved goodbye.

Although we don’t know the details of what is being said behind closed doors it does seem that the UK have given the EU plenty of information and such like but because it isn’t to their liking the EU keeps saying not enough is being done by the UK.
I would just give the EU one document setting out what we want, how we see this working and the advantages for both sides.
If the EU then want to dicker about we just wait for the 29th March 19 and trott off with a wave and call us when you’ve come to your senses.
Apparently the treasury or one of the gov departments has put a lot of work into a no deal scenario and it isn’t beyond the wit of the others to do the same. They have 9 months to get ready. Well maybe seven to give everyone a bit of time to fall in line.

I too impatiently wish for a no deal exit, this being the sharpest and quickest way of bringing into focus the reality of British life outside the EU. All the posturing an chest beating will then be a complete irrelevance with (I hope) benefits and drawbacks almost immediately becoming clear. At that point we will all see whether our personal suspicions were justified, will Britain become great again ?
I really do feel that anyone who thinks the EUSSR will do us a fair deal is deluded. Barnier and Verhofstat are not going to assist the easy departure of the UK. It will leave a massive hole in their finances and if they do arrange a fair deal it will perhaps encourage the other states who are like minded about the centralised corruption that is Brussels to take steps to leave as well. Just leave - refuse to pay them their 40 billion and see what happens. The industries and commerce of the other states will suffer as much as is predicted for the UK and therefore things will equalise as each state seeks to protect itself. The EUSSR is a sewer which make the Augean Stables look like paradise.
// Theresa May has been unable to say much new because she has yet to get her cabinet to agree on a blueprint for the UK's future relationship with the EU. //
Utter shambles. It will be very hard for us to gain anything at all if we do not know what we want.
If the Government are unable to tell the EU what it wants post Brexit, it is difficult for a favourable conclusion to be negotiated.
Our future is being decided by a bunch of amateurs.

Perhaps the remainers need to turn the propaganda on its head.
Whenever you see a headline or article where a member of the EU or Europhile says anything like ‘Last chance for a deal says EU chief’ or ‘little clarity is coming from the UK’ or any such utterances swap them around.
Last chance for a deal says the UK government. Little clarity of coming from the EU.
Because although you read what you want to. And obviously remainers want to believe everything the EU says. If the UK weren’t so polite and were more bullish we might get a bit more support.

There is a time deadline if we are to leave in March 2019.
And the necessary work isn’t being done. The timetable keeps slipping.
The Government should be saying we want the Northern Ireland border sorted out this way, or that way. But the Government are an utter shambles who don’t know what they want, so it is impossible to agree anything.

We will end up walking away. One of the many reasons for voting out was due to EU intransigence. Although Remainers continually accuse the Leavers of not knowing what they were voting for in reality it was the leavers that did know what they want. No ties or domination from the EU. That means no deals., deals are a remainer thing.
