That's because you are not defining what you actually mean by the word 'superior', or in which areas you consider those groups to be 'superior' or 'inferior'.

I'd agree that those groups you mention are/were 'more advanced' but I'm not sure that they were 'superior'.
The more I read about the actions of university students the more I wonder if they ever do any studying.

If back in our pre-Roman days and facing that invading nation, who lived in villas with underfloor heating and spa baths, I would have definitely though that they were superior to us both in living standards and superior technical knowledge.
I wouldn't be surprised if they boycotted his cakes too.
Fatima Abid--who does she think she is?
Sara Khan "Liberation and access officer !!!"
Give me strength.
I would be very hard pushed to disagree with aog’s analogy – although some will manage it – if they try very hard. The Romans/Greeks were superior to the inhabitants of these islands at that time.

I can’t recall ever having been offered the services of a 'Liberation and access officer'. What would he/she have liberated me from or given me access to – and am I entitled to demand an apology for historical discrimination?
What upsets me most is that - whatever the words - it *now* looks dirty & scruffy. The poems are both good enough to warrant display, yet a new piece of paper (yes, I know...) couldn't be acquired?

Way to not think something through, Ms Kahn (& associates).
The quotes by perpetrators of this infantile act of "revisionism" remind me of another great English writer, Alexander Pope: " Words are like leaves, and where they most abound, much fruit of sense beneath is rarely found."...Another crop of Ivory Tower thinkers about to spring forth.
Ooops, perhaps I shouldn't have mentioned "ivory".
JTH. You could have been married to the local cow-pat collector... Whether you liked it or not.
And when he'd picked his last pat, chucked on his funeral pyre,,,,alive.
Yes, very superior customs.
the mini bakewells were my favourite.
It is immature, but OUTRAGE is all the fashion these days, encouraged by the Mucky Media and by Cyberspace Society.

And it's also a sign of Dumbing Down with its associated Knee Jerk reactions which again seems to be a modern trend.
what responsibilities - exactly - might a "liberation and access officer" actually have?
Mushroom24, one of their many important responsibilities might be this: https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2018-04-25/college-installs-cry-closet-safe-space-student-snowflakes
I love this poem, it is one of my any favourites and I cannot for the life of me understand why it it is 'racist'. Can anyone enlighten me ??
^ 'many' favourites.
hereIam, it isn't racist - that's been acknowledged - but some of his other work is considered racist and he is deemed an imperialist - so I guess nothing he's ever written will be acceptable to these idiots.
^^^^^Just about to post the same . What is racist about this poem.?
I read about it on MSN naomi and it was quoted there as being racist and I couldn't for the life of me see why. I think it is a beautiful poem and it made me cry when I first read it, especially the last line. Thank you for your explanation. Madness is the only word I can come up with for now for getting rid of this poem! Does my head in ......
hereIam, I think these people would do well to read that poem ... and ponder.
