Tearaway doesn't go far enough to describe such nasty behaviour. What sorts of attitudes at home are influencing these young people?

There's no hope is there when the thick, stupid parents defend them! That mother should cancel the yob's 16th birthday party forthwith not be worrying about the affect on him and all the family visiting for his birthday! I can't believe that one mother is complaining that this is going to spoil her son's 16th birthday party...as Here says....it should be cancelled....more pandering.
And as for asking for police protection...no....let them know what it's like to be afraid to go out....one lad's dad has said he will now have to accompany his son when he goes out over the next few weeks because of threats made.
Just keep him off the streets for a long time....at home with you where you can perhaps teach him how to behave because you've failed so far...

I saw this on FB......was speechless even thinking about it. I don't ever recall such times until the take over of technology against ordinary decent common sense years ago as to why and how they even think of such things...and worse.

I can only blame it on the proliferation of chav type low grades that has reach epic proportions. Their inane take on life..well their lives anyway. To care for no one but themselves and make sure their bizarre mind set 'values' is instilled in their poor children who learn fast to take up this senseless cruel behaviour.

They walk amongst us and for my liking far too many of 'em. Culling a lot would help the decent people to survive because until something happens to this 'class' of people, they will end up ruling our lives!

I remember something some years ago that broke my heart at the time. It was a mother and her disabled daughter who lived together and were constantly harassed by thugs in their own home and their lives were made a total misery. The police did nothing of any note and these vile yobs came back night after night tormenting this couple until in the end the mother could stand it no longer and she took her disabled daughter and killed them both to escape from the horror of it all. I cried when I read the harrowing article. Anybody else remember it ?

I don't remember that, hereIam, but I do remember the chap that was tormented and bullied for months by the local yobs and the police did nothing. They finally killed him and set fire to his body

This is a shameful story, if I was that boy's mother, his birthday party would have been cancelled. Why should they get protection? The poor lady they attacked wasn't protected.

It is a parenting problem, but it isn’t just the fault of the liberal left. You are as likely to see a right-winger protecting his child from any outside discipline. Parents seem frightened of parenting these days in case their offspring won’t then be their ‘friend’. Parents shouldn’t be friends with their offspring until they are grown up.

A prime example of some of today's disaffected youths. This was obviously a planned attack ,not an on the spur of the moment thing. Lads of that age don't normally carry flour and eggs around with them. They were obviously not going to bake a cake! The trouble is they think they can do what they like these days. ''You can't touch me '' brigade. Parents can't slap them, teachers have to be careful not to touch them. They aren't afraid of the police and show no respect for authority.
That poor woman must have been terrified.
In a thread last week I said that I would be in favour of the Death Penalty being brought back (not for this offence I hasten to add) for the most serious crimes. One of the other Abers was quick to tell me that this would never happen because we live in a 'civilised society'.!!!
