Yeah he doesn't sound at all mentally ill does he? :/
Despite that and for what it's worth, I am happy to entirely decry this persons actions whatever race or religious persuasion they might be, no apologist here.

I'm sick of the deliberate derailing of these threads by the "If you don't explicitly condemn Islam twenty times before breakfast each day, then you are, de facto, a supporter of terrorism" - comments which are posted like a mad Pavlovian salute at every opportunity.
It stinks to high heaven of The Third Reich and Jackboots at Dawn (Jackdaw at Dawn?) and makes proper discussion impossible.
I condemn all terrorism, all intolerance and all evil - no matter whence it comes - which includes this latest attempt at mass killing, fortunately nipped in the bud before it could be enacted.
For the avoidance of doubt, I do think Islam is a disaster for the world - but then so was Nazism, so was (much of) British Imperialism and so was/is The Roman Catholic Church.

You, like many others, make the mistake of assuming that other people have not only enjoyed an education that allows them to think freely, but one that also endows them with the ability to rationalise as we would. Unfortunately, that isn’t so, When the twin towers were attacked, Taliban fighters in Afghanistan whooped with joy without ever understanding what the twin towers were - or even where they were. New York? Where’s that? Ah, yes. Somewhere in the west. That’ll do.
