The question is about Stop and Search which is a nationwide activity, not just London. The 20,000 less police officers is the national figure not the Met figure.

AOG, perhaps they should target more white preople. Black people are stopped 8 times more than white people and the prosecution rate is very low.

Gromit, i agree they should not have cut police numbers, absolutely
if anything increased, with a rising population, society needs them
to account for that population growth, but no..powers that be seem to think it's not needed, makes one wonder, are they thick or complacent, how much on foreign aide when we need order here, let alone foodbanks homeless nhs, old people freezing to death etc.
