As for this story, there is as others say nothing to indicate any animals were slaughtered in this yard. There may well be an issue as to what then happened to it but I’d imagine most of it was eaten. It doesn’t say

I did say ‘properly conducted’ including supposedly all meat sold in supermarkets. I am perfectly aware that not all Hal al slaughter confirms to this. But the point is worth making - and if we accept that it’s ok to slaughter animals in an industrial scale for meat then I’d suggest our occasional ascents to a certain moral higher ground are problematic at best.

I'm sorry to be so tardy in answering your question @ 14.25 .
I was making a point about halal as its obvious from the OP the subject was Muslim halal meat and not Jewish Kosher.
Both are as bad as each other and any form of killing an animal that involves slaughter without stunning first should be banned.
