Sorry but Breitbart is a sleazy gossip-peddling hate site. It makes up stories regularly that are subsequently shown to be untrue.

E.g. claiming that a muslim mob burned down Germany's oldest church; claiming that an undocumented migrant started wildfires in California; the 'Pizzagate' conspiracy theory; claiming that scientists were tampering with sea level data to exaggerate climate change; claiming that George Soros says he wants to destroy the USA as his life's work; claiming that Planned Parenthood had teamed up with the Church of Satan to agitate for abortion rights...

Etc etc etc etc

It goes on and on and on and on. It is a fake news site that regularly publishes completely made-up stories in order to promote hatred of muslims, minorities, "the left" (meaning anything and anyone to the left of Genghis Khan) and all manner of insane right-wing conspiracy theories.

You can't make use of such a source regularly and just expect it to get normalised on here. Consider me as inappropriate and stupid as you like, I really do not care. If you want to discuss something, pick an appropriate source. You should not need to rely on something that regularly publishes fake news and I don't think we should be welcoming of it on AB.

Well, I've read Boris's article in the D. Telegraph - the Breitbart piece is accurate, so far as I saw. I don't hold any brief for them, but please could we actually tackle the question - 'How will he fare?'?
I think Sir Humphry would be saying 'Brave move Minister' if Boris were Jim Hacker.

Doesn't matter, spath. Boris wrote the article, I've read it in unexpurgated,original form. Whether the D.T. is Tory or not has nothing to do with it. This nit-picking is really silly.
