Judge Rinder today:

17year old girl escaped the civil war and atrocities in DRC/Rwanda and came to UK with no education and could n't speak the language.
Within 3 years she learnt English and was offered a place to study Medicine at the University of Leeds.
Her sister who escaped earlier in her life is studying Law .

Both are amazing women.

Great determination after such a lousy start, full credit to them.
Kudos to them both, great achievements.
How dare them asylum seekers come over 'ere and work in our hospitals saving lives ;-)

Excellent, so nice to hear something so positive and inspiring x
Yes I saw that too. Puts our British youth in the shade.
Errr what were they on JR for?
my daughter has just met the younger one..they had a drink together in Wetherspoons to compare health notes.....
Well done those girls. However, what were they doing on Judge Rinder?
Question Author
The elder on asked the younger one to store some of her furniture for her and the consequence was the younger one damaged it.
Sooooo!....the elder one sued her younger sister .
Thanks for answering my question sqad
Appearing on that show just goes to show that academic ability doesn't mean they also have nous.
Sqad, I hate to be pedantic but wasn't DRC formerly known as Zaire?
The president, Joseph-Désiré Mobutu, changed the country's name to Zaire in 1971 (and changed his name to Mobutu Sese Seko). Upon overthrowing Mobutu in 1997, Laurent Desire Kabila changed the name back to Democratic Republic of the Congo.
Whatever its name it seems to be a place of great brutality. I remember reading that people were boiled alive in oil barrels
Such savage brutality is not uncommon in other African nations.
Appearing on judge rinder really does deminish their supposed achievements .
Question Author
Asquith....NONSENSE !
Their achievements and persistence in the face of the ultimate in adversities will NEVER be diminished.
