not a fan LB?
It could be Tony B ...
I don't think many Liberals would welcome Bliar.
To paraphrase Mrs Merton ... what did you see in the centrist, three-times election winning, pro-EU Tony B?

danny, as Cleggy demonstrated they'd feed their granny to the Ravenous bugblatter beast of traal for an ounce of power.
Can't stand her. If this is true then we'll see even more of her on our screens. Arrrgh!

yes, ich, never believe anything until it has been officially denied.
Vince Cable said the leader does not need to be an MP, not Ming Cambell.
Ms Miller made it clear that she does not want the job, she is not even a member of the party.

There is a good chance of a new party emerging, with LibDems and disaffected Blairites (and possibly some old Tories). So the next leader could be someone from a much bigger pool than is currently available.
She was on Marr or some such programme the other day and she was pretty dismissive of the idea. The Lib dems are right tho to open the leadership to outside Parliament. Maybe even outside the membership. With the double car crash of the current lab and Tory parties it’s not good enough to be at 7% in the polls. Unfortunately it’s often the way that in cases like this the middle gets squeezed
irrespective of the truth or otherwise in mings statements
"said the leader does not need to be an MP"

...but obviously does need to be a democracy hating viper in the nest.she know shed be slaughtered at every turn if she took the job...

every interview ive seen she gets totally destroyed...nothing but a traitorous lackey doing the work of sorros et al etc trying to overturn a fair , legal and democratic vote.
"The Lib dems are right tho to open the leadership to outside Parliament."

Whether or not they are right is not really the point. With just a dozen to choose from currently and with two of those the current leader and a former leader, their idea may be one of necessity rather than desire.

"With the double car crash of the current lab and Tory parties it’s not good enough to be at 7% in the polls. Unfortunately it’s often the way that in cases like this the middle gets squeezed"

The LibDems cannot be remotely described as "the middle". With Brexit the most important topic for Parliament to handle at present they are the only one of the three main parties in England and Wales to declare outright opposition to Brexit and to call for it to be halted. Not for them the tiresome matter of delivering the wishes of the 17m who voted to leave. Nor for the five out of six MPs who voted to trigger A50. The 2.3m voters who cast their votes for them last time round are far too important for that.
Think the supporters of the May Day Party. need to get their own house in order first. before criticising others. The Con Party are in desperate state.
^ wow, what an insight you have, simply amazing
She’s denied it. So yes she is gagging for it to be her.
