Has anyone else noticed that it has been rather boring on the news section these past few days?

// I dropped out of commenting in News a good while ago now, it's just more and more of the same and nothing at all new//

same old same old - brexit - immigration and will we be killed in our beds again tonight?

Today they led on climate warming
which give you some idea of the news drought at present
"will we be killed in our beds again tonight? "

as always :D
// it is the debating on the various news stories that is entertaining. //

did he say "various" ? - islamic grooming - brexit - hardly vrious or new
Who said, more or less, 'Keep silent and be thought to be foolish or open your mouth and prove it'?

//Stay out of it then. //

// That's what people are doing. //

Ok, fair enough. What do you think should be done to prevent this happening then Krom?

That's actually quite funny Ed.
//"will we be killed in our beds again tonight? " //

I've seen that written before - but I've never seen anyone actually ask that question. Oh the drama of it all! ;o)
Same as Kval,,,it's become too repetitive.
Jim, this is news, waggery is verboten....

Yawn!!!!!!!..............
It's the same old thing isn't it? Muslims, politics, immigration etc. Gets boring after a while and there aren't many new posters these days so it's the same few people repeating the same old.
^^^
And when new posters do try to contribute, I (for one) am shocked at the inhumanity displayed by some on here.

I'm also shocked by the repetition of falsehoods from Breitbart and Britain First, that are posted, as if true, but the source is rarely given.

And by the level of fantasy and lies purveyed by contributors to the news threads.

I don't have time to call out all the lies.

Even when I do, posters refuse to admit they have been lying.

Why would anyone want to discuss anything with liars and fantasists?
Don't go to Chatterbank then. If you mention you were once shipwrecked some fantasist will insist they were once drowned. :-)

Seen plenty of Breitbart links (who generally use other media outlets stories) but Britain First?

When was the last time a Britain First link was used?
I hardly ever post anymore.
It has definitely become an echo chamber full of old Daily Mail moaners. I can hardly be bothered to post anymore, because the answers aren’t even worth reading.
Considering that one thread on News only a couple of weeks or so ago shattered the record for greatest number of posts by over twenty-five per cent, I would have to argue that it is never 'boring' - I read every day and usually find a post to respond to.
