Some people are prejudiced, but I think most of those perceived to be prejudiced base their opinions on experience or reason. Therefore they are not prejudiced. They have a reason for thinking as they do. People who have tried to give food to the homeless and had it thrown back at them, money being the preference, for example. Those people have a reason not to offer to help again. You would no doubt regard them as prejudiced whereas in reality their reluctance to offer help again is based on their experience.
