\\Please stop calling her ‘it’, that’s plain nasty.
No she should it have her op on the NHS, she is in prison for punishment.//
So, you have a choice.
This person having gender reassignment on the NHS.
OR
A member of you family having life saving surgery.
You can only choose ONE..which one is it.?

I believe elective surgeries shouldn't be available on the NHS, but as this is very unlikely to happen, they should go to the very back of the queue.
In this particular instance the surgery be rejected. It is entirely absurd that this surgery is being considered for a man who has chosen to step outside the rules of society and commit one of the worst crimes possible.
On the whole he/she/it definition, I genuinely find it odd that people are referring to him as a her, when very very clearly he is a he. It's just plain daft.

I agree with the join the queue and sorry Jerome57 I know you are going through this but you are having to wait ages between stages and you have done nothing to hurt anyone. I also believe no non essential surgery should be considered on the NHS.
I don't know this individual I don't know if her mental state has resulted from anger at her condition or if she is simply evil, or somewhere in be
tween. Not being able to be a woman making her hate us maybe.
I have to think the option with the least impact is separation from other prisoners until release then consideration for treatment with every other potential patient.
