you arent an intellectual are you 3T ?
and the AB sleuths (armchair) have determined this man's innocence/guilt on minimal details.

Nobody has done anything of the sort.

His reasoning and judgement however has been questioned and found to be lacking and wanting, in large quantities.
//christians are obvious security risks in Araby and as Nigh might say - should be sent home immediately //

Just for clarity, Nigh, (poor diction there PP), has never said that.

Peter it was La Tricoteuse who did the knitting etc.,Sans Culottes(without knee breeches) were a group of rebel fighters.

"Nobody has done anything of the sort. "

What indeed - only part of my answer was posted then I could not post; try this added on

Total refusal to post my words by this site, so ChillDoubt can review the THREE decisions of guilt themselves @21.08,21.13 and 21.53

another try.....
Last try (NOT) AB editor can clean up the garbage....

No idea what you’re on about sevenOP but if you see those 3 posts as categorically stating that he is guilty of spying/espionage as charged by the UAE then you have a very skewed view!
They do appear though to question the idiocy of his chosen endeavour, especially in the current political climate with ME countries.
why is he an eejit, he was there for legitimate reasons, he's already been in prison for six months on trumped up charges, i hope Jeremy Hunt actually does something for this man.
sevenOP- try posting without using less than or greater than signs to precede your text
"No idea what you’re on about sevenOP but if you see those 3 posts as categorically stating that he is guilty of spying/espionage as charged by the UAE then you have a very skewed view!"

jackthehat - " Not because he's been stitched up on bogus charges...."

ToraToraTora - "Yes JTT they are bogus charges but what..."

Spicerack - " Spy."

I said stating his innocence OR guilt. The only thing "skewed' is your eyesight/interpretation ChillDoubt.
And emmie's "trumped up charges" are unequivocal.
I find it odd that the govt he is accused of spying for, is going to plead his innocence. Also, Jeremy Hunt said he was given assurances only two weeks ago that Hedges would be released. In other words, they took no notice of your representations Mr. Hunt.
In the greater scheme of things, Mr. Hedges is an irrelevance when all things are considered regarding the UAE. Business; trade; employment; tourism. All worth billions.
I suppose we could punish them by terminating their sponsorship of The FA Cup. That'd show 'em we mean business! :o)
