No. It's impractical and unworkable. In 2016 an estimated 3.8 billion people travelled by air so it would take rather a lot to make even a minor dent in that. It simply isn't going to happen. Ridiculous.
i don't fly any more but can't see how this will help matters, don't fly, don't have a holiday, do business, all goes belly up, airlines go bust, yes can see how that will work.
No I wouldn't because one way or the other it would mean I couldn't see any of the people I love, couldn't work and couldn't move myself forward at all. It may seem selfish but I'm not tat selfish that often so I'll give myself a pass on that x

you see what i am getting at, you can't see loved ones if they are far away, no holidays, no business being done, tourism takes a major hit, everyone loses
i applaud those who care about climate change, but i do think sometimes those who care don't always think things through.
indeed, i can see their point but its not well put together, suppose one of those 10,000 or more has an emergency and they need a helicopter to take them to hospital are they going to refuse, i think not.
Yeah exactly, I care every much about climate change and other things, but it's not always practical to do everything w could do without things falling apart in other ways x
exactly my point, all these things have a domino effect, stop flying fine, then nothing gets done. surely one of the biggest problems is cargo, some of what we consume is carried by air, what happens to those people who are baggage handlers, out of a job.
this is all hypothetical of course, almost no one is going to stop flying because a couple of ladies think one should.
Yes indeed. We rejected cattle crush flying for a luxury coach. It takes two days to get where we’re going, and two long days back again. Swollen feet and tender botty time awaits.
i don't mind flying, just not up to it now.. which is a great pity as far as i am concerned as i always wanted to see the Northern Lights. But that dream has come to an end.
