Dropbox On Iphone - Can I Remove A Sub-Folder From My Device?
2 Answers
I have a lot of sub (and sub-sub) folders on my iPad Dropbox. Some of these folders I have "Made Available Online" so I can see/play them without internet or 4G.
My iPhone space is running low so I would like to "Remove from Device" certain of these folders and still have them available in Dropbox to re-download when I want them.
To "Remove from Device" you 'just' need to hit the three dots … next to the file name and select Remove from Device. Easy.
Except this option is only available for level 1 folders e.g. \dropbox\audiobooks
for any lower sub-folders e.g. \dropbox\audiobooks\Bill Bryson the option "Remove from Device" is greyed-out (not available) on tapping the three dots …
So I can only remove ALL my audiobooks by "Remove from Device" on \dropbox\audiobooks which is definitely not what I want to do. I have many authors under \audiobooks and many books under each author.
This is such an obvious thing to want to be able to do that I can't believe Dropbox have omitted the function so I think I must be missing something!
Can anyone help?
Thanks
