What people go down the pub for (4.2.9) - I know Mamya gave a lovely clue 'A liquid measure to begin' in another thread but I can only think of pint and 'a pint of' is only 7 letters and its not really an animal - help! Then GoodGoalie gave a clue 'The collective noun could be what Scots call an alcoholic drink...' but I can only think of dram, and that doesn't seem right? Sorry Mamya and GoodGoalie :o(

23. Two before a quarter of an acre (5.2.4) - may begin with B?

28. What happens to snow in wind (5.2.4) - am I THAT thick that I can't get this one!!

A slang word for a drink down the pub - Northern/Scottish more usually.

For 22 - using the same site that Mamyalynne suggested (did you get that from one of my earlier posts?!), the only one that fits is an 8 letter - but the clue is 9 letter?
