Maybe we could start by turning away from fossil fuels (nuclear power) and start implementing sustainable energy which has less pollution.

Nuclear power is certainly less polluting than fossil - above the earth anyway

materials used to power nuclear power plants is not renewable or sustainable.

Issue is though.. Extraction of materials to set up wind turbines and solar pannels is also quite harmful to environment.

It would take the agreement of all to even begin to attempt to solve the problem and I don’t believe that is likely. I think saving the earth from pollution is a pipe dream.

WE....aren't going to stop them. Whatever they want they will do, even if detrimental to the population of the world. Inventions and desires ensure those 'hooked' on getting what they want make them consider only themselves.

My only solace is that I won't be around to see the downward spiral of catastrophe, the sadness is my grandchildren and great grandchildren will be. Educating the uneducated in these matters often falls on stoney ground as most won't understand how vital it is to save our planet.

Maybe it's as it is meant to be....but what a terrible shame that it is human animals who create all the problems...not the wild life, the creatures who actually are being killed by us through ignorance....

If all life is sacred, preserve what we have, stop making more globally. The consequences are inevitable.
