They thought Trump was praising them in particular but he was actually praising the increase in women in employment throughout the US.

The Congress women in white and tbh all the Democrates only got up and clapped if the head of the Democrate party did. They mostly took their que from her.

It was really 8nteresting to watch.

if you watch Trumps speech in Poland - the first he gave on foreign soil - Trumpo stops for riotous applause every 30s or so - and latterly gets silence. Especially when he gets to the bit where he is gonna bolster Polish freedom ( yippee!) by withdrawing US soldiers.

people have already said Trump cannot address anyone without assuming they are middle american reps who have voted for him .....

The chamber just broke into cheers of “U-S-A!” again.//

They were applauding progress but also that Trump brought the issue up. One assumes they were intelligent enough to understand the situation.

If you watch that part of the speech they are applauding themselves. They even point to themselves and each other as they do it.

They are far leaf extremeists. AOC especially in wanting to nationalise virtually all industry and give everyone free stuff while double downing on individual rights.
