I have been worried about e-cigs for a long time as two of my close family members puff on these all day.

Doubt it. issue with vapes is the fact they seem subtle and safe but in fact you can quite easily fill a room (or car) with nicotine ridden vapour.

Ah, it seems it wasn't a result of the vapour, but a result of the liquid nicotine as an individual substance. Usually used when doing a DIY liquid to vaporise.

Yes there is still some danger (giveing up totally is the only fully safe option) but e- cigs are MUCH safer than the 'Real Thing'.

I've always been worried about these things. How can it be ok to inhale those chemicals? The smell is enough to make me think it's dangerous. You wouldn't deliberately breath in toilet cleaner or air freshener.

Let's face it they are mostly ex smokers with the same selfish attitude. The only saving grace is that they don't fill every door way with their disgusting residue because they haven't figured out how to use a bin. Try walking behind one of these morons billowing smoke like the flying Scotsman filling the air with some sort of flavoured air gunge.

Surely it reinforces the urge to smoke, lift to mouth, take a drag, puff out, repeat until finished. Then grab another asap. Crazy.

My wife smokes or rather vapes in the lounge all the time. When she smoked cigarettes she did it outside. Now I’m worse off with the stinking vaping that hurts my sinuses. I have brought some surgical masks that I wear while watching TV. Not happy, but at least she doesn’t stink of fags.

Yep but not just that, it makes you feel like you can do it more cus it's apparently safer than normal ciggies.

It leaves you with the mental addiction to smoke.

Haha Ta Lady.....Just trying to keep it light hearted......these threads have been known to get fractious. I myself do have a ciggy, but I do not smoke in the house or our cars. Never have, even before the smoking police became empowered. "She who must be obeyed" has never smoked although her Mother did, and is very tolerant of my habit. Never lectures or comments but talks to my daughter( Doctor) when she visits, and tells her how much I smoke and when. Then my daughter tells me off. :)) I can stand that.
