(Strangely I can't find an actual video of this interview even though it allegedly went out on CNN. Could be fake news).

If she did say it though, it really does depend on how Brexit turns out. If there's a no-deal scenario (which at this point looks quite likely to me), the chances of another independence vote would go up significantly in my opinion.

5 years does seem optimistic even so. But not impossible.

Retro op, the EU will welcome Scotland with open arms. It will be a constant reminder to the rest of the UK that the EU are in charge.

However, would we be as obstructive with Scotland on its departure as the EU has been with us!
