Wonder what their constituents think about all this? They were, after all, elected as Labour MPs. Wonder if any would be willing to stand as independent in a by-election to see whether voters had elected them or the party?

The ERG are actually only going by Tory policy and the PMs speeches and promises.

The likes of Soudry and her ilk are the ones not following their manifesto.

That is the whole issue - if the extremists weren’t setting the agenda on either side then there’d be no problem

Indeed, they are clearly hoping to catch moderate MPs from both of the main parties as the extremists in both have pretty well dug their heels in it seems.

I hope it works, but I'm not optimistic.
