How will we notice? Obviously they weren't at the socialist training lecture when they mentioned that you actually have to do something that people need before withdrawing it has an effect! Gawd help us is this is the next generation! I think mankind has peaked!

On strike for cliamte change.. They think what's the point of an education if there is no future? It's quite honorable i think.
We did this back in the 80’s as we were fed up of the teachers striking
Pretty sure pupils across the world boycotting school on the basis they don't believe there will be a future for them to use their education is something that will get noticed.. And i mean, you started a thread on it so that's how we'll notice lol.
Happened in the UK back in February.
Wot ! Again ?

The cause may be a good one, but the strike action is purely a day off from study. If they really wish to convince they should protest in their own free time, not in their study time.
Wouldn't striking in their own time completely miss the point?
Some wise observations in your link TTT, odd they made you laugh so hard.
And all that hot air being released because of their collective yelling, screaming, ranting, and raving is really going to help isn't it?:)
The point of getting a day off ? For sure.

dunno What The Funicular they are on about anyway there cannot be a single person on the planet that is not aware that the climate changes.
And when you attended The Royal University Of Cockney Rhyming Language ? OOps sorry , Slang, PMSL.
It's called 'action' OG. It's hardly 'action' if it's done in their own time is it?

Imagine the British Leyland workers striking in the 1970s but only at weekends!

(I hate strikes of any kind, BTW).
Question Author
yeah but even red robbo grasped the basics ZM!
Indeed. Like it not being very effective if you do it in your own time!
I think ur missing the point TTT, quite drastically.

People are aware, yet they do *** all about it.

Trump also, deffo aint aware. And if he is he's a troll.
I think King Knud (aka "Canute") had the right idea.
No big deal......all the losers studying for a tin-pot made up degree or diploma, will strike and they are the ones that society will barely miss qualification. The serious students, who have something to offer society studying for bona fida qualifications will still attend lectures.
It's lack of study action if done in study time. It's genuine protest action if done in their own time.
They are school students, not studying degrees (yet).
I just find it odd we're mocking students for protesting for action against climate change.. How bizare.
