It seems only "tens of thousands" have turned out. The online petition is iffy at best, so bit of a damp squib from the remoaners!

The campaign suggests more than a million have turned up -- even supposing that to be exaggerated it was still pretty clear from videos that the turnout is huge, and likely to be similar to the only other notably large protest march, the Stop the War [in Iraq] March in 2003.
regardless of how many - there's one absentee who's very visible by his absence. in fact, judging by this tweet, the party he leads would really rather you went off and did something else....

The pictures look like the numbers were pretty high. Not sure about a million but high non the less.
I’ve often said people that ‘lose’ a vote or just lose in general have a vested interest in getting out there and making a noise.
The people that ‘won’ don’t, or at least didn’t, have a reason to go and make a fuss. However they do now but sadly a lot have been worn down by the total incompetence of the government, bullying of the EU and screaming remainextremists.
In this instance the remain campaign also have a lot of big businessmen with vested personal interest in remain money behind them. Which is laughable when you consider remainextremists tend to say leave voters are being hoodwinked by vested interest.
