I've read that Michelle Obama rang the judge during the trial.
Can't confirm that. Her aide was certainly the go-between between Smollett and the prosecutor. When caught colluding the prosecutor said she was recusing herself from the trial. Later when it was pointed out that when she recused herself she should have appointed a special prosecutor she said, 'I didn't actually recuse myself, I just used the term in a colloquial sense'.
These people are amoral scum.
At least, between this and the muRussia fiasco, the scales must be falling from the eyes of the most rabid anti-Trumpers.

Yes your right I don’t know how much money he has but the US is very well known for paying their stars very well indeed.

Also when the CPS says he has done community service and forfeited his $10k bond as restitution then that alone infers some sort of guilt.

Otherwise he would have got his 10k back and an abject apology for doing community service.
