Asparagus.
Dedinitely not a Tulip. More like a bell...... tower or something similar. :-)
well it looks nowt like a tulip, I'd go with the stamen.
It looks like a tulip before flowering.
Cotton bud doesn't sound as trendy does it.
If it looks like something rude all I can say is the model has a serous problem.

I like all the diverse designs for the new buildings in London. The Tulip is fine.
If the building was a financial institution you could name it The Spermatozoa Bank.
Buildings will always get local nicknames and that's fine - what tickles me more in 2019 is that sperm are seen as rude.

Why?
Will it "vibrate"? Betcha it gets a more descriptive moniker. :))
It will undoubtedly get nicknames no matter what it is called.
The Spike in Dublin has the following list:
//The Spire in the Mire; The Stiletto in the Ghetto; The Nail in the Pale; The Stiffy by the Liffey; The Pin in the Bin and our favourite, The Erection at the Intersection.//
I have re-read my post, and I can't see the word "rude".
Sorry, that should be The Spire!
I am referring to the linked article.
Regardless of whatever nickname it eventually acquires, it seems to be a rather pointless development.
Still, it'll be applauded as another triumph for Sir Norman...

Some good answers. The post was of course intended to lighten our mood from all the other 'banter' we have had today.
On the other hand, if the building housed MI5, MI6, and other clandestine organizations it could be named The Eye Of The Needle. OK, mamy, I get you now.
Looks like an anti-gravity water "drop".
A letter-writer to the Times suggested the Big Dick.
I hope this doesn’t get asterisked. If it’s ok for the Times it should be ok for AB :)
And it is ok:)
