Well, given that a lot of the targets used by HM Forces are of a running Russian soldier it’s not a million miles way from what they’re used to.

I suppose the real mistake is videoing it
( the real sin of Sgt Blackman who moved out of the way of an 'ugly' to avoid being photo's
and also those idiots who snapped themselves body surfing on the bodies of Iraqi POWs)
or in 1945 where the GIs were snapped shooting German guards out of hand ( buchenwald I think)

..//I wonder if this is the first time ever that some public personality's image has been placed on a dart board or target? I recall a particularly bad penalty taker having his photo used for a start.//
I often attend a shoot where we have a target known as the Mc Queens Sniper Castle. It looks just like a desert outpost in Morocco with windows and battlements straight out of Beau Geste. One day we had an effigy of Osama Bin Laden popping his turbaned head between the battlements and window apertures. Oh how we laughed PP then the Seals did him for real and spoilt our fun. Back to the original 'running Hun' targets.' What dat den' says PP. :-)

I suppose you happen to forget the GI's who were shot as POWs by the SS during the Battle of the Bulge Campaign PP.
Unlike you not to bring up the SS Malmedy massacre for a change.

I personally hope they don't manage to ID them, not to protect them , but in the hope it will go away and not bring even more bad publicity - further I hope it sends a strong message that if you're going to play silly games then make sure all pals with a phone are on message.
Don't even try to tell me it should be balanced against other horrors done before - it doesn't wash.
