No parliament approval no admin just implementation of the decision within 2 weeks. What would be your choices?
Mine:
1) Leave with No deal
2) leave with May's deal
3) Remain
which ever gets' the most wins, end of.

AOG, I put 3 in there because remaining is better than the deal on offer.
I'm really not convinced that another referendum is going to do anything other than cause more problems.

Imagine for example if it's a 1% victory to Remain, but on a lower turnout than the previous referendum. It's not at all difficult to see how vast swathes of the country would deny the legitimacy of the second vote.

I appreciate we're all extremely bored of Brexit but... this is what the country voted for. This thing was never going to be simple or quick - you cannot undo 40 years of integration at the snap of your fingers. We are stuck with this albatross around our necks now until it either gets worse or peters out.

kromo that's what happens with MPs elections.
TTT, every chance that the SI will not be approved then.
Yes, I know and it's stupid there as well.
Question Author
theoretically danny but given the VB content of parliament I'd say they'll nod it through.
Krom, //I appreciate we're all extremely bored of Brexit but... this is what the country voted for. //

What's on offer isn't what the country voted for. How difficult is that to understand?
Any Tory nodding it through wil lbe as complicit as May in bringing an end to the tory Party for the next 20 years or maybe even forever.

Wipe-outs in all coming elections, May will certainly go down in history.

No point in having any more referendums, they would find a way of backing out if they didnt like the answer no matter what was committed to.
TTT, prior to May going to the EU over 100 Tory MP's were against a long extension.
What has happened to the 'Great' in Britain, we must now be the laughing stock of the World.

We were once the envy of the World and most countries copied our democracy, Law and spoke our language and now we go cap in hand, bowing and scrapping to our once sworn enemies, France and Germany.

Now we should drain the swamp of those antidemocratic politicians, by not voting for them at the next election.
Who are you going to vote for, aog?

I disagree why give the remainers a second bite of the cherry, that is what they have been after since they lost the referendum vote.

Any, just as long as they are not among the present MP's.
Lol. The most rabid Remainers have been trying to foist your cockamamy referendum on us for months. You didn't think this through, did you?
Arguments brexiters no longer make -

- £350M a week for NHS
Turkey about to join EU
Parliamentary Sovereignty (mps = rubbish traitors ovbs)
Boosts for economy (now not likely for 50 years at least)
Global, Prosperous Britain

Only argument they still make:

Will of the people 3 years ago.
"Any, just as long as they are not among the present MP's."

If anything brexit has proved how dire the MPs are. Do we really want to be alone with these nut jobs? They tell us it'll be better i guess we just have to trust them.
aog, if you're very lucky they might be guided by experience and stop us voting at all - just in case they get a result they don't like. ;o)

Oh dear that old chestnut again?

It was a suggestion, not a pledge, for what the money that we hand over to the EU could be better spent on.

It was a major factor AOG "eh that money could go to our NHS" ever remain voter knew that it never would.
Number 1. This is what I voted for in 2016, along with 17.4 million others!
