Morning- I read that there are more copies of Ikeas's catalogue in circulation than of the Bible and Koran put together- slightly surprised me tbh :)

Some great answers. I find it hard to believe you never knew that gas holders rose and fell depending on the amount of gas in them, Spicerack. Didn't you notice? I remember the very nasty smell from them.

I was surprised about the volunteers painting the white horse white, too.

The first Japanese car sold in the UK was a Daihatsu.
I never knew that about the gas holders.
When looking at a world map and finding out that Australia is actually considerably bigger than Greenland but the latter appears much larger on maps due to distortion caused by its proximity to the North Pole.
