//never turning up to vote// What's the point of "turning up" in the EU "parliament" to vote? The "parliament" is a rubber stamp whose single power is to determine how long it takes to consider and approve the latest legislation proposed by the oligarchy.

I've no doubt that Brexit will 'win' the EU elections. (They have the momentum) I just don't feel Ukip are finished.
I don't like the way Farage set out to destroy Ukip or the way he talks about them.
It will be interesting to see how the disaffected Tories on here vote when the honeymoon period is over.
I seriously cannot believe the knee-jerk political voting which is going on. I firmly believe many people voted for Brexit in this way. Now we have an embryonic Party (with promise, I’ll admit) without even a manifesto, headed by someone who has flitted from the conservatives, to UKIP and now to TBP being widely proclaimed as the party to vote for. C’mon people For Funks Sake get a grip and think of the bigger picture. I’m as frustrated with politics as you are but chucking the baby out with the bath water as some kind of ‘yaaa-boo take that political establishment’ kind of gesture won’t get us anywhere. Quite the reverse.
I’m voting ******** to Brexit :-)
Set your own party up, Ich. Looks like people will vote for anyone as long as they’re anti.....something ;-)
In my opinion the Lib Dems have done the right thing with their slogan. Like it or not, it’s a crude and mildly crazy time politically now. Enough or being nice I say. It’s a positive stance and it will at least get them noticed.
In general people often vote negatively anyway, voting an opposition into power as much to get rid of the precious government as anything else.

Yes, they seem to have caught the zeitgeist.
As Andy said, we thought we had already voted for Brexit. Apparently we were too stupid to understand what "leave" means, and have to do it again.
It shouldn't be necessary, I agree. But it obviously is.
//In my opinion the Lib Dems have done the right thing with their slogan.//

In my opinion the LibDems very name contravenes Trades Description legislation. Democracy is an anathema to them.
As I said elsewhere, the libdums were the only party at the last election to stand on a Remain platform. (Cons & Labour both pretended they were committed to leaving)
Didn't do them any good.
These elections will be very interesting if they go ahead.
They are blatantly confessing to going against the public. I would hate to think a majority of voters would be as immoral.
I was UKIP am now Brexit voter. Sick of them all though.
Nigel's Brexit party for me. His flier was the first through my letter box. Like he was committed to win and shake up the traitors. Jeremy's flyer was the second. Conveniently the paper/card wheelie bin was still outside my front door. The Cons? Not a sniff.
I fail to see how any intelligent person can vote for the Brexit so-called party.
I fail to see how any intelligent person doesn't vote for the Brexit so-called party.
I can't believe you can't see that UKIP and his new Brexit Party won't split the EU hating vote.
Calicogirl, And I can’t believe you don’t understand why that doesn’t matter. The message is for the rest – the disingenuous who claim to respect the result of the referendum but in reality do nothing to demonstrate that, and in fact oppose democracy. Liars devoid of integrity all.
Best answer to naomi surely.
We should vote for MEPs on their record.

Farage: Never turning up to vote, milking the expenses to the limit, spending more time in the studio of LBC Radio than is Strasberg.

Hmmm. Maybe not.
