Since May told him to say so TTT. She has no intention of hissing off. The ploy always was to use whatever means possible to thwart the will of the British patriots despite her mealy mouthed words today and yesterday at the D Day ceremonies. Time to mobilise once again.

//Reports of Theresa May’s political demise may have been exaggerated, with her spokesman revealing that, while her time as Conservative Party leader is set to come to an end on Friday, she will remain as prime minister until she “believes that someone else can command the confidence” of MPs. It is not guaranteed that her successor will be able to command a Commons majority, particularly if he or she is a Brexiteer committed to leaving the European Union on the latest delayed deadline of October 31st with or without a deal — which could see Tory MPs loyal to the EU side with the left-liberal opposition in a vote of no confidence.
This would not necessarily be an issue in terms of delivering Brexit provided the new prime minister could prevent a vote of confidence to remove them, possibly by proroguing Parliament until Brexit after the new legal exit day on October 31st — but Mrs May could sabotage this by refusing to surrender the prime ministership until the new Tory leader receives Commons approval.
And, according to the Guardian newspaper, the Prime Minister’s spokesman insists her premiership will only come to an end when “she says to the Queen that she is stepping aside and believes that someone else can command the confidence of the House”.//
Haha my "question" in chutterbunk "disappeared" as well . Mind how you go.
Well of course it was: what part of "Any posts asking or discussing why a post or thread was closed... will be removed" haven't you noticed for the last three years?

Back to topic: let us hope that the new PM can command the confidence of the House. But that will mean acknowledging their repeated rejections of ... well, just about every way forward so far, but in particular of a "No Deal" exit.
May had a hard line ? Must've misplaced it early on then.
//mealy mouthed words//

Take note.
There is no alternative exit on offer save the so called hard Brexit. Accepting the reality of that, the MPs should accept it, reluctantly or otherwise. Any other course of action is an attempt to avoid Brexit, and as such is dishonourable.

Jim do note..... there was no indication that the thread was closed. Just no answer box available. The previous post of mine was for your attention. You have indeed passed over to the dark side.
No answer box sounds closed.
What in heck is "the dark side"? Also, OG is right: threads that have no answer box are by definition closed threads.
govt - hahahahaha
we dont have one
and so he can dictate because there isnt anyone to dictate to

3T - he go _ foo foo what dat den etc etc

OK real answer - since the fixed term act when an election is not precipitated by a govt defeat and so
when there is a majority against the govt
Parliament takes charge
and the govt sort of flaps in the breeze
Jim
// You have indeed passed over to the dark side.//

jim:"Yes, but the thing is he's also pretty clearly right: trying to force through "no deal" by disbanding Parliament deliberately is so utterly contemptuous. " - no deal does not have to go through parliament, it's what we'll have if nothing else goes through.
