Worse still in her mind, most of the questions are about the 15-year old opponent who just whipped her ass, which rubs salt into her wound. I can see why some would consider she’s being rude here. The Williams sisters clearly never went to charm school
She was gracious, if a little reticent but perhaps she was expecting to answer questions about her own performance, not about the potential of her conqueror. A few leading questions toward the end of the interview but not one of the journos dared ask the question; "Venus, at 39, is this the beginning of the end for you?"

She doesn't seem particularly embarrassed, just bored and desperate to finish the obligatory press stuff and get out of there.
