The size of the wine bottle is totally irrelevant. Obviously had major ‘ issues’ . The woman is dead. It’s sad .

She was drunk. Apart from obvious safety concerns, think of the implications of someone being drunk aboard an aircraft. If she's ill, or sick, or abusive, or if she falls a injures herself, firstly is that fair to other passengers, and secondly who has to deal with the result? You're not thinking this through.

Alcohol abuse is becoming more and more of a problem and is probably greater than one imagines.
I cannot comment on Business Class attitudes, as we have always traveled First Class, but alcohol abuse in air travel needs urgent attention.

The incident on the plane had all the classic ingredients to go viral and it did, whether the resulting trolling she received tipped her over the edge (so to speak) or not we'll never know.

Even if that person is obviously inebriated,offensive and abusive. Not only can she be refused drink but kicked off the flight and charged extra landing fees etc. If you misbehave on a flight you end up in court. If you spit at anyone anywhere. You end up in court.

That doesn't surprise me. As a someone who worked in the medical profession you'r bound to lack a certain amount of empathy, because apathy is essential for medics.

When someone killed themselves over online comments, and i'm making online comments about it, yes i care.
