They know the bounds of being constitutionally still able to represent 48% of voters. Yes, we lost. But the war ain't over. There are many who still believe a NDB will be detrimental to our economy.
The HOC voted on this last month and it was thrown out.

perhaps ZM but that is the price of freedom. We are never going to get anything resembling a decent deal out of the EUSSR especially if we act terrified of no deal.
As Hammond will be on the back benches in three weeks, who gives a toss what he thinks?
Question Author
HOC danny?, you mean HOQ, surely?
Question Author
fair enough JD but he claims to have 30 quislings in his corner.
TTT, no I mean HOC.
'We are never going to get anything resembling a decent deal out of the EUSSR'

Indeed.

Couple that with a Parliament who wont allow a No deal and where does that leave us......

Default on what?
Question Author

Yes danny, but that would be without a deal, which hammond is trying to block. So where does that leave us? (genuine question).

It's one which was, the article points out, successfully used by Yvette Cooper and Oliver Letwin in extending the deadline.
ZM, But failed when Oliver Letwin tried to get no deal off the table.
Question Author
yes but what would be the legislation?
