Is there any more reason needed to end this disaster? The effects are real. The cost is great. Time to stop this madness.

4x the limit and a 5 month ban is a disgraceful sentence. Q. Why do we get the EU scroungers and criminals flocking here.?
A. Because our criminal justice system is the laughing stock of the world and our benefit system is a joke except for the hard working taxpayers who fund it.
Go home to mummy and daddy and scrounge off them. She probably couldn't afford all that booze in Sweden.!!

//£270 fine and 5 months ban not a bad result for being Brahms, //
I don't know what Scotland is doing with its drink driving law. I know they have reduced the limit (to about 60% of the English limits) but I didn't know they'd faffed about with the sentencing.
In England there is a minimum mandatory ban of twelve months. As well as that, with a reading at that level (three times the limit in England) she would be facing a ban of at least 23 months and a community order rather than a derisory fine.
As for her "mitigation" it's the biggest load of cobblers I've heard for a while.
Welcome to the wonderful world of "devolution".
