Mushroom25 , "Buryexit " You have done it now, You can expect Melt down and Gridlock on A/B. Get your tin hat on.
Most amusing.
Looks like the Chairman has accepted a bid from a London-based consortium, so the Shakers might yet be saved. Let's hope so.
I'm getting very twitchy now - this is my club from being aged 7. Fingers crossed.
Unless the buyer is a multi millionaire, how can it be saved?
I fully echo your sentiments, Stephen G.
too many ''smaller'' clubs are facing extinction or have already become extinct.
Some are going due to poor management of the club by the owner, others for varying reasons.

I hope there will be a deal.
Those small teams in the Greater Manchester area will always struggle. Football hasn't been level playing field for simply ages.
Steven Dale was not a fFt and Proper person to own Bury FC. The EPL and FA should never have let him anywhere near the club, and they bear a great deal of responsibility for the mess that the club is in.
Dale has a string of failed companies behind him. A simple check at Companies House would have highlighted anyone looking, to the fate of Bury FC under Dale’s ownership.

The sad part is, he famously bought the club for £1 and will make a lot of money when it is saved.
Rory Campbell is the son of former Labour Party professional liar and lifelong Burnley fan Alastair Campbell......oh dear.
Fingers crossed for Bury FC.
It would be terrible if they folded. Particularly after achieving promotion.
Dale is demanding £810,000 for his hard work of driving Bury to the brink of extinction. He bought the club for £1 in December. The club owes £15million which will have to be paid as part of the sale agreement.
The EPL and FA should hang their heads in shame. Their Governance is terrible and does nothing to discourage shysters like Dale.
this sort of thing always amuses me, the "fans" of the club all wax lyrical about saving the club, tears, t shirts etc. If you love it that much put yer Germans in your skys and donate, lets see 810k = 810 fans donate a bag each, sorted!
