It's probably due to their new leader " Dominic Cummings " .

Given the alternative, I'm not surprised really
Me neither.
Dominic is the best thing that has happened in Downing street since Maggie left.
I think the Tories have picked a winner in Boris. I can't see him losing the next election to Corbyn.

ANOTHEOLDGIT, they asked 1,867 folk in the survey. You have claimed before that polls with a similar sample-size are not representative, comparing it to the "approx. 50 million UK adults voting."

How is it this poll IS representative?
Because it gives the right answer,tcl...
I also think that but he cannot have it both ways.

Just reporting the facts, as always.

They may not be the facts that you like but still facts.
The only fact a poll shows is that of the people canvassed.
ANOTHEOLDGIT, you have a flexible definition of "facts".

When a poll found that half of Britons believed racism was on the rise you wrote,

"This 'exclusive' study shows half of Britons believe fascist views are on the rise in the US, UK and Europe.

How can they possibly claim that?

Surely they mean that 50% of the people who bothered to vote in the BMG poll, thought so?"

As I said previously, you cannot have it both ways. You cannot pick and choose which surveys are or are not valid based upon whether they support your particular viewpoint or no.

As you have said just now, "They may not be the facts that you like but still facts."
Possibly true Khan, but it must be a close call.
Theresa May enjoyed a poll bounce too.

It didn't last either.
Oooerrrr Jim. :-)
That’s because the PM has the guts to believe in the UK and is, on the face of it at least, not cowtowing to the EU like May did.

Time will tell if he gets the job done and we can get on with the rest of our lives.
But that's exactly what people thought about May when she started off.

I mean, maybe *this* time it's real, but... well, the next two months will tell. Personally all I see is someone who wants the voters, rather than the EU, to think he's a tough guy. So far, it seems to be working.
This is a crucial time and Boris is right when he says remainers are undermining negotiations.

The EU have always played hard ball and they will be hard enough to crack even a smidgen but with remainers still fighting tooth and nail they can be cautious and wait...

I just wish they would all be honest (I know an oxymoron in itself) and say, as the limp Dums have said, they want to change the result rather than simply get a deal.

I do think in a three way split That included remain, leave with a deal and leave on wto there would be more leavers overall.

I am all for getting a good deal but if it isn’t good then wto is better than both bad deal and remain.

Why has Cummings got so much power .He can demand a person to hand over her phones to him , he can sack a civil servant he can walk outside no 10 and demand an armed P/C to escort a lady of the premises. What does he know about JRM, IDS and Boris ,. Me thinks he knows where the bodies are buried.
