As for the gentleman who had 44 transactions, it seems they took their time before contacting him.
Ken. For someone who has been there, done that, your attitude to the addictions is oddly Victorian!
It’s the poors’ fault for being poor.
It’s the drinkers’ fault for being weak-willed.
It’s the gamblers’ fault for being (what? maybe poor, weak-willed AND greedy!)
Which to me is like saying it’s the victim’s fault for being murdered.

13.15 Ken, I'm not putting 100% blame on the industry, but I would put 75% on them, due to people being brain washed with TV adds, and its aimed at a lot of teens also, they know exactly what their doing with these late night adds, correct me if I'm wrong but is not one called pink casino ? aimed at young girls with a pretty pink lap top, pink clothes/ furniture pretending to have a fab time throwing her money away. Young people, or older that may already have money problems think its going to be a way out for them. not!
Bill; as i said, when i looked back on my time with drink problems, i realised that i only had myself to blame. And, i honestly believe, that's true in most addictions. The thing with a gambling addiction is that it doesn't take that long - even for an idiot - to realise that the dice are loaded. And certainly not in the punter's favour. How do these people become gambling addicts in the first place? It's certainly not easy pickings, no matter how they interpret the ads on tv. They must have a self destruct button in their inner wiring, Bill. Or their abnormal need for money over-rides their natural instincts. The only way to win a small fortune in gambling is to start with a large fortune. Flippant, but true. Not saying the bookies are totally blameless, by the way. But it takes two to tango and, in this instance, only one needs to be a good dancer.
