Ignorant oafs the lot of them.I recall in the 1980s I was part of Mugabes security team. It was the first Lancaster House conference. After a long day we escorted Mugabe and his cronies back to the residence in Hyde Park Crescent. The assembly jumped out the cars and walked up to the steps to the front door. We heard
" Who got da key?"
"I dunno I haven't got da Key"
"well who got da key?"
"He was last to leave. He must have the key"
"Naaah man I gave de key to him"
This went on for some time much to the annoyance and frustration of the security team as the object is to get the principl;e out the car and into the premises asap. This man was assassination material.
In the end a DS from SB barged past them all and knocked on the front door. It was immediately opened by the black housekeeper all smiles and teeth.
The team fell about laughing and I recall, to this day ,as Ebygum turner round and glared at us as he entered.

The fallacy of balance, I suppose. In the UK he quickly became a hated figure (because, well, obviously); but closer to his home he's still regarded by many as a hero. The BBC reports both, and it looks "glowing" as a result.
I don't see any point in celebrating death. As ymb asks, people like him live to a ripe old age, by which time the damage has already been done. I won't miss him either.
