I just watched highlights on ITV News at Ten.
It sounds like a ranch or zoo on the radio with all the representatives of the people mooing and baaing in the background when you can hardly hear the person on their feet.A shameful exhibition of playground politics. Bercow,as usual, says little when his opponents are on their feet and allows the embarassing fiasco to continue.

You’re a bit late with this...
Mr Sheerman’s reaction came after a much posher sounding but equalling forceful rant from the Attorney General.
What is very frustrating when you listen to these statements is that a minister can take a question and simply ignore it. And it seems there is no comeback possible from the questioner.
Gove was asked the same question about 8 times and every time he ignored it. Although I would have thought by the end it would have been obvious that the most effective approach would have been to cut all preamble, thus giving the minister no other “stuff” to address and hide behind.

I agree ken.
I thought the AG’s rant was appalling, but for its content only.
His oratory was impressive.
And so was the passion of the speakers.
My view is that the PK is deliberately stirring it to divert attention from his own dismal shortcomings sharp practice in public office and indeed Barry Gardiner made this point later.
It’s gratifying to see that his personal ratings have dipped significantly since Tuesday.
