I read about this earlier. Shamima Begum has told ablout how she is suffering mental illness having lost all of her babies which is understandable but she doesn't seem to have shown any kind of remose or regret for joining a terrorist group.

I agree with Priti Patel on this. She made her bed so she should lie in it as far as I'm concerned.

Yes, Pritti Patel is right. Begum made a decision and declared herself an enemy of our country by doing what she did.

If she had declared (or even now declares) any remorse and understanding of the magnitude of her error, then it might well be different - but until there is repentance there can be no forgiveness.
She's not doing that at all; last I heard (I may be out of date) she was saying that she still believed in ISIL's thinking. So she's sorry for herself.
